C Quant Developer

Our HFT client is seeking a Quantitative Software Developer to join their global team. This exceptional individual will be part of a lean team of data and software developers who ensure the smooth implementation of a large research infrastructure and manage the live production trading of billions of dollars across global markets including equities futures options and other financial instruments.

Responsibilities include:

• Building processes and technology tools to ingest tag and clean datasets.
• Researching new technologies for improved data management and efficient retrieval.
• Monitoring and enhancing the automated data collection and cleansing infrastructure.
• Implementing highperformance missioncritical applications in C.
• Contributing to existing infrastructure and applications in Java Go Python and C.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience developing highperformance lowlatency applications in productioncritical environments.
• B.S. or higher in computer science engineering or a related quantitative field such as Mathematics Statistics or Physics.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in C.
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Go Java Python.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of financial products and highfrequency trading.
• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve intricate problems optimize code and develop efficient solutions in a fastpaced environment.
