Job Description

AxiomaticAIs mission:
AxiomaticAI is launching with the aim to accelerate R&D by Automated Interpretable Reasoning (AIR) a verifiably truthful AI model built for reasoning in science and engineering. AxiomaticAI is hiring top talent interested in a future of human reasoning aided by not replaced by AI and a future that empowers a new generation of innovators to solve important problems through deeptech engineering in the semiconductor ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
Design implement and optimize intelligent AIassisted automated testing solutions for thinfilm lithium niobate photonic integrated circuits (PICs) microelectronics and ASICs focusing on efficiency and accuracy improvements in measurement workflows.
Operate and maintain advanced AIassisted automated wafer probing systems and highspeed RF testing equipment (e.g. FormFactor MPI tools RF SystemonChip FPGA Vector Network Analyzers) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Conduct highspeed RF testing (> 50 GHz) manage fibertochip coupling processes and perform RF and DC probing with a focus on electrooptic (EO) modulators and related photonic devices.
Collaborate with AI and machine learning experts to integrate Automated Interpretable Reasoning capabilities into testing processes enhancing data analysis and decisionmaking.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners including photonics designers and semiconductor industry customers to refine testing protocols and advance product specifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Applied Physics or a closely related field; advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) preferred.
At least 1 year of work experience in photonics or semiconductor testing.
Handson experience with automated test equipment and familiarity with tools such as FormFactor MPI and others.
Proficiency using machine learning techniques to improve measurement accuracy and process automation.
Strong technical skills in the setup calibration and operation of complex highspeed (RF) measurement instrumentation.
Excellent coding skills and experience with programming for test automation.
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.
