Job Description
Amnis is a fastgrowing Swiss fintech company dedicated to simplifying the handling of foreign currencies international payments and multicurrency card payments for SMEs through our fully automated web platform. As we continue to expand and innovate we are seeking a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Symfony to join our dynamic IT department.

Tasks
- Provide support and mentorship to other developers
- Analyze maintain and improve the Symfonybased projects.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Proactively contribute innovative ideas and solutions
- Stay uptodate with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our software development processes
Requirements
- Degree in IT Software Development or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of handson experience with Symfony (preferably SF4) and ApiPlatform
- You are familiar with Docker and Message Queues
- Experienced with testing tools such as PHPUnit or Behat
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology continuous deployment and 2week sprints (nice to have)
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive attitude
- Language Proficiency: English (B2 level or higher); German is a plus
- Geographic Requirement: Applicants must be based in Europe
Our Tech Stack:
- Backend: PHP (Symfony)
- Frontend: JavaScript (React / React Native)
- Database: MySQL
- Other Tools: Redis Docker Azure Kubernetes (knowledge is a plus)
