Health Care Aid

We are currently seeking applicants for a Health Care Aid part time position to assist our client. If you are interested we invite you to apply for this position.

Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes nursing homes or hospice care settings
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing and grooming
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with mobility and transfers including heavy lifting when necessary
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Follow care plans and ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed

Skills:

• Experience in providing home care nursing home dementia care senior care or hospice care is preferred
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged standing
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Job Type: Parttime

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
