Job Description

Cloud Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Lead to join the Cloud Platform Team. The candidate will be responsible for the design implementation and support of cloudbased solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency across the organization.

The candidate should be a proven leader with a track record of successfully implementing cloudbased systems to help secure and manage an enterprise cloud platform. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloudnative solutions on Amazon Web Services with a focus on security and compliance

Research and recommend new solutions based on the latest technologies frameworks and best practices

Provide technical leadership and guidance to fellow team members

Aid in implementation of monitoring and collection of metrics to enhance visibility & implement alerting to enhance service reliability

Participate in an agile delivery process

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience

Proven experience as a Cloud Technical Lead or similar role

Handson experience with Amazon Web Services including ECS Lambda RDS IAM and DynamoDB (AWS Certification Preferred)

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation)

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices compliance requirements and industry standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills

Ability to build solutions as an individual and as a leader of others

Required proficiency in Golang and Python

Preferred experience with DBT PostgreSQL and GitLab CI/CD

Certifications: AWS Certified Security Specialty or relevant certifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related relevant experience

Expert knowledge of application and AWS (cloud) architecture and related technologies

Proven experience in designing and implementing cloudbased IAM solutions. Previous work with opensource IAM frameworks

Comfortable building solutions as an individual and as a leader of others concurrently

Excellent technical documentation capabilities (e.g. data models process diagrams high level designs)

Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprisewide perspective

Experience withHashiCorpTerraform

Automation & Scripting (Python Bash etc)
