Job Description
Location: Flower Mound TX 75028
Position: Data Center Cable Technician
Contract: 3 Months
Summary This position is a Data Center Cable Tech supporting the CTDI customer DELL. This is a new project and the CTDI team is building a brand new team for this project. Candidates must have a flexible work attitude.
Shift time is 7am 3:30pm CST
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assembly and installation of servers switches and cabling.
- Installation of support structures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of copper (UTP Cat5e Cat6 Cat6a) and fiber optic cable
- Understanding of data rack cabling standards and best practices.
- Terminating cable and distribution frames.
- Ability to read and interpret various types of build documents schematics and cable running lists.
- Safely operate various hand tools maintain accurate inventory and maintain safety standards
- Minimum five years of experience cabling complex data rack systems & min of 1 year wire labeling
- Able to lift 50 lbs. as needed
