Wireless Network Specialist

Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Wireless Network Specialist to join our team. As a Wireless Network Specialist you will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing wireless networks to ensure reliable connectivity and performance. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support network infrastructure troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that meet business requirements. Your expertise in wireless networking technologies network security and troubleshooting will be essential in maintaining our organizations wireless infrastructure and delivering highquality connectivity solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy wireless network infrastructure including access points routers switches and controllers.
• Perform site surveys RF analysis and capacity planning to optimize wireless network coverage and performance.
• Configure and manage wireless LAN/WAN technologies (e.g. WiFi 6 LTE 5G) to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
• Implement network security measures including encryption authentication and access controls to protect wireless networks from security threats.
• Monitor wireless network performance conduct troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Conduct network audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with vendors service providers and internal teams to implement wireless network upgrades and expansions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and IT teams on wireless network configurations and best practices.
• Document network configurations troubleshooting procedures and system updates for knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging wireless technologies industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CWNP CWNA) are preferred.
• Proven experience as a Wireless Network Specialist Network Engineer or similar role with handson experience in designing and managing wireless networks.
• Strong understanding of wireless networking protocols standards and technologies (e.g. IEEE 802.11 WiFi LTE 5G).
• Experience with network security principles and best practices related to wireless networks.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (e.g. Cisco Aruba Ubiquiti).
• Knowledge of RF spectrum analysis tools and wireless site survey methodologies.
• Ability to perform network performance tuning and optimization for improved reliability and efficiency.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving network issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
