Radiologist

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and evaluate medical images including Xrays MRIs CT scans and ultrasounds
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians to provide accurate and timely diagnoses
• Utilize radiology technology and equipment to perform diagnostic procedures
• Consult with other specialists to determine the best course of action for patient treatment
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all imaging procedures
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
• Provide direct patient care and support during imaging procedures
• Conduct research to enhance diagnostic imaging techniques and procedures
• Keep accurate and detailed records of patient diagnoses and treatment plans
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology and maintain knowledge of current medical practices

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or DNB degree
• Completion of an accredited radiology residency program
• Board certification in radiology by the Relevant Board of Radiology or equivalent
• State medical license and registration to practice as a radiologist
• Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medical image analysis
• Knowledge of radiology safety protocols and quality assurance standards
