Overview

Barden Electric Inc. a leading electrical contractor in Torrance CA is seeking a diligent and detailoriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a critical role in identifying and securing new projects contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Browse and review bid requests received via email.
• Evaluate projects to determine the best fits for Barden Electric Inc.
• Build detailed and accurate estimates for potential projects.
• Conduct onsite job walks to gather information for estimating purposes.
• Follow up on submitted bids to maintain and enhance client relationships.
• Update and maintain the Excel bid log with current project information.
• Complete and submit proposals using our Word proposal form.
• Collaborate with the Estimating Manager to review and refine project estimates.

Expectations

• Develop the ability to independently bid on projects and eventually take on a leading role in the estimating team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
• Contribute to increasing the companys field work and overall revenue.
• Demonstrate a commitment to growing with the company and enhancing our market presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating within the electrical contracting industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough and accurate onsite evaluations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
