Job Title: Information Technology Engineer Systems Lead

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Baltimore MD 21224 (Mandatory 100% remote however the resource must reside in District of Columbia Maryland Virginia(DMV)

Description:

• Manage and configure DataDog on Linux.
• Network Infrastructure/Server Application SNMP and Log Monitoring.
• Centralized logging from various sources.
• Create dashboards in DataDog.
• Manage DataDog APM tool for Java apps.
• Set up End User Monitoring with JavaScript.
• Create Selenium scripts for business transaction monitoring.
• Support and analyze production issues.
• Document and train on tools and processes.
• Coordinate monitoring requirements with Systems and Application teams.

Required Skills:

• 8 years IT experience (Microsoft Linux/Unix VMWare SQL Server TCP/IP VPNs Mainframe LAN/WAN).
• 3 years DataDog administration and support.
• ELK Stack experience (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana).
• Shell Python Selenium VuGen scripting.
• SSL certs and encryption on Linux.
• Largescale systems monitoring and alerting.
• Documentation of processes procedures and policies.
• Configuring alerts dashboards and reports.
• Service level management understanding.
• Tool backup and recovery procedures.
• Data management tools and databases (DB2 SQL).
• Troubleshooting systems and Java applications.
• Waterfall and agile SDLC understanding.
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• SAFe agile methodologies experience.
