Job Description
Title: Quality Specialist
Location: Kent WA
Duration: 6 Months Extension
Pay rate: $43/HR on W2
Description:
100% onsite. Shift timing: A Shift 7 am3:30 pm PST MF
Prescreening questions:

Prescreening questions:
- What constitutes a nonconformance on a piece of hardware
- What is the appropriate process for dealing with a nonconformance once identified
- What if any additional information is required from engineering for quality to approve a Use As Is or Repair disposition
- 2 years of quality inspection experience in a rocket engine production environment
- Relevant experience in a startup environment transitioning a product from development through production to operations
- Relevant experience in AS9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process
- Quality Management System audit experience Quality performance measurement analysis capabilities (SPC)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- 3 years of manufacturing and/or integration experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing environment
- Aerospace space launch military or commercial aviation preferred Internal auditing experience Knowledge of aerospace/aviation / engine manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of NDE and receiving inspection methodologies Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management Systems and/or related quality systems and programs
- Provide training and/or assistance to other team members in the use of quality acceptance processes procedures and/or tools
- Serve as a 2nd set of eyes when performing inspections of internal flight hardware. As needed support the review and inspection of supplierrelated hardware
- Document First Article Inspection Reports for internally produced hardware
- Monitor SPC activities as necessary
- Conduct process health assessments and internal audits for compliance with industry standards and provide ongoing objective evaluations of processes and documentation
- Conduct followup and compliance audits to ensure process improvement and corrective/preventive action implementation and effectiveness
