Job Description

Job Description

Seeking a Consultant with a strong focus on ServiceNow features, particularly ITOM and Event Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and support of cloud observability solutions. You will collaborate with the internal ServiceNow team to build out products, solutions, or demos requiring cloud connectivity. Experience with AWS or Azure is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, guide team and implement cloud observability solutions using ServiceNow ITOM and Event Management.
  • Ensure seamless integration of observability tools with cloud infrastructure.
  • Solution and recommend use cases, POCs and demos.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow.
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient observability solutions.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support team members in cloud observability implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

ServiceNow Expertise: Strong experience with ServiceNow, particularly ITOM and Event Management modules.

Cloud Observability: Knowledge of cloud observability tools and practices. Knowledge of Cloud observability from Lightstep will be added advantage.

Automation: Proficiency with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Security: Solid understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Scripting: Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Linux shell scripting) is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Professional certifications such as CIS-ITOM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Servicenow ITOM, infrastructure management, with a focus on AWS cloud services.

Proven experience in architecting and solutioning.

Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and security concepts.
