Job Summary |
This is the top sales position with responsibility for leading the entire sales team developing |
and implementing strategic sales plans and achieving sales targets. You will play a crucial |
role in expanding our business and ensuring the success of our sales initiatives focusing |
initially on South India and later expanding into GCC and North India markets. You will |
oversee both the indoor sales team and the project sales team ensuring alignment with |
overall business objectives and fostering a highperformance sales culture. |
Key responsibilities |
1. Sales strategy & planning |
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development and sales strategy |
for various markets ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. |
Formulate the annual work plan and business budget. |
Create product planning and promotion plans. |
Identify and organize the customer base; deploy sales strategy in the field; |
recommend and implement action plans and counter measures when needed; share |
information internally; identify and leverage new business opportunities. |
2. Business development & Key account management |
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stake holders. Leverage |
this network to build loyalty and to secure long term business partnerships. |
Understand client needs and preferences to tailor solutions and maximize sales |
opportunities. |
Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients. |

3. Market research & competitor activity |
Forecast and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting |
expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. |
Analyse sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for |
improvement. |
Builds indepth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applies these |
skills consistently to forecast business manage the sales teams build opportunity |
pipeline and make business decisions. |

Collect competitor information formulate market development plans and |
implement effective measures to improve performance according to changes in |
local regulations and policies ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. |
4. Business Performance |
Elaborate implement and control budgets in accordance with the agreed business |
plan. |
Forecasts and communicates intricate sales details to senior management. |
Prepare latest forecasts to achieve agreed profit and financial goals. |
Active involvement in the Advertising & Promotion budget by brand and by market. |
Closely monitor their effectiveness and constantly optimize where possible. |
Monitor prices and ensure that regional price strategies are maintained. |
Monitor competitors activities pricing sales market trends promotions etc. and |
share information as appropriate. |
5. Team leadership & talent development |
Lead and develop the sales team to consistently meet/exceed goals. Attract top |
talent to the organization and implement training & development initiatives to help |
the team succeed. |
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on achieving sales |
goals. |
Directly oversee the Indoor Sales Team (Showroom Sales Manager and Sales |
Executives) and the Project Sales Team (Regional Managers Zonal Managers and |
Business Development Executives). |
Set clear performance expectations and objectives for each team and individual and |
conduct regular performance reviews. |
Ensure continuous training and development programs are in place to enhance team |
skills and knowledge. |

6. Retail performance |
Ensure the indoor sales team delivers a superior customer experience by maintaining |
high standards of visual merchandising product presentation and customer service. |
Direct train motivate and communicate with the Showroom Sales Manager and |
Sales Executives to ensure they are knowledgeable about the products promotions |
and sales techniques. |
Monitor the performance of the indoor sales team providing regular feedback and |
identifying opportunities for improvement. |
Ensure the showroom is wellorganized wellstocked and reflects the highend |
luxury brand image of the company. |
Implement and oversee marketing activations and promotional events in the |
showroom to drive foot traffic and sales. |

Required Qualification |
|
Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or Management or |
equivalent. A Masters degree is a plus. |
15 22 yrs. of experience in building material industry with min. 10 yrs. dealing with |
luxury building materials. |
Ability to confidently negotiate and lead at the Csuite level with highend architects |
in India. |
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with |
management and crossfunctional teams |
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite CRM & Database generation |
Experience managing and expanding a team of 20 individuals. |
Good command of English (written and spoken) mandatory |
Ability to travel 25% 50%. |
