Job Description
Overview:
The AEM Developer plays a crucial role in the organization by designing developing and implementing solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). They work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital experiences that meet business objectives and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for AEMbased solutions
- Design develop and maintain AEMbased applications and integrations
- Customize and extend AEM components templates and workflows
- Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across devices
- Integrate AEM with thirdparty systems and services
- Implement and customize CMS functionalities and authoring environments
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
- Conduct testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure the quality of AEM solutions
- Stay updated with AEM best practices tools and technologies
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experiences
- Contribute to architectural decisions and solution design
- Document technical specifications and system design
- Assist in deployment and maintenance of AEM applications
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of AEM solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as an AEM Developer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Java development and related frameworks
- Strong understanding of AEM building blocks including templates components and workflows
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and API integrations
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug AEM applications
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications in AEM or related technologies are a plus
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and Target is a plus
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
