Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner NICU
Location: Spokane Washington United States.
Salary: USD $62580 to $100788
Employment Type: Fulltime

Shift: FullTime Night Shift (36 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Assess plan and implement respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as ventilator management airway management and pulmonary function testing.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress adjusting care plans as needed.
- Educate and support parents and family members regarding respiratory care and equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with advancements in neonatal respiratory care.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist (NPS) certification preferred.
- Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Washington.
- Experience: Prior experience in neonatal respiratory care preferred.
- Skills:
- Expertise in neonatal respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highstress environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move patients and equipment and to stand or walk for extended periods.
