Job Title: Physiatrist

Location: Springfield MA 01102

Salary: $215000.00 $265000.00

Employment Type: Fulltime (40 hrs./week)

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation services to patients with various musculoskeletal neurological and orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical exams and review of medical histories.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improving patient mobility function and quality of life.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including physical therapy occupational therapy medications and interventional procedures.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions treatments and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Requirements:

• Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience: Experience in physiatry preferably in a clinical setting.
• Skills:
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical examinations and procedures and to sit or stand for extended periods.
