Location: Springfield MA 01104

Shift Details:

• Hours: 12hour shifts three days per week
• Schedule: 19:00 to 07:30
• Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Salary:

• NonLocal Pay Rate: $60.93/hr.
  • Taxable Wage: $50.43/hr.
  • Per Diem: $10.53/hr.
  • Reward: $7.62/hr.
• Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles): $53.07/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Provide highquality compassionate care to patients in the emergency room.
• Perform patient assessments triage and implement appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions treatments and followup care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with emergency nursing best practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in emergency room or critical care nursing preferred.
• Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highstress environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods lift and move patients and equipment and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
