Job Title: RN Emergency Room

Location: Hartford CT 06105

Shift Details:

• Hours: 12hour shifts three days per week
• Schedule: 19:00 to 07:30
• Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Salary:

• Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles): $50.45/hr.
• NonLocal Pay Rate: $57.66/hr.
  • Taxable Wage: $45.82/hr.
  • Per Diem: $11.83/hr.
  • Reward: $5.77/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent and critical care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Perform rapid assessments initiate treatment plans and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications perform procedures and assist with emergent situations as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on conditions treatments and followup care.
• Adhere to hospital policies protocols and safety regulations.
• Maintain competence through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience: Prior experience in emergency room or critical care nursing preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods lift and move patients and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
