Job Description

LOOKING FOR FILIPINOS WHO ARE PHILIPPINESBASED CANDIDATES

Position : Technical Analyst
Work Hours : MF 9am to 5pm NZ
Holidays : PH Holiday
Pay Range : $USD

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform and create documentation / systems for the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will triage new leads to identify good fits for our services (i.e. recognising they have the budget what they need matches our core competencies etc).
  • Conceptualize Software Solutions:
    • Understand customer problems and brainstorm initial concepts for software solutions.
    • Create lowfidelity wireframes (e.g. whiteboard scribbles) to visually represent these concepts and facilitate discussion.
  • You will sit in on customer calls or review recorded calls so as to be able to
    • Create/formalize a user flow diagram(s)
    • Write technical user stories document with:
      • Acceptance criteria
      • Estimates
    • Where necessary include supporting wireframes
    • Liaise with Orchid development team to check that the estimates are correct
  • You will create Scope of Work documents outlining the suggested next course of action for the client (e.g. a UX/UI Design Pilot with included deliverables listed out).
  • Handle endtoend requests for our more simple projects (e.g. WordPress websites small apps)

Project management / project delivery role

Perform and create documentation / systems for the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will create tasks/cards within Basecamp which clearly list out the requirements for a designer or developer to action
  • You will perform QA on completed tasks to ensure they match the original requirements and intent
  • Check in with team members when tasks and/or projects are taking longer than expected
  • Ensure we keep up regular client communication on how projects are going or following up on requests with clients
  • Identifying tasks that are taking a lot longer than expected and sorting out a solution (How will it affect overall estimates/timeframes Do we need to change the scope Is the client fully aware)


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience creating user flow diagrams (minimum 1 years experience).
  • Proficiency in Figma design.
  • Experience creating UX/UI wireframes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including ability to speak directly to NZ business customers on Zoom and/or phone).
  • Ability to provide examples of previous Technical Business Analysis work in the web development/software development industry (minimum of 2 years expected).
  • Ability to provide examples of previous project management work in the web development/software development industry (minimum of 2 years expected).
  • High level of attention to detail (with references from previous work experience).
  • Proficiency in translating customer requirements into actionable software concepts with the ability to communicate ideas effectively through basic wireframes and diagrams.
