Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer
Client: Health Care Insurance Company
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Washington DC 20065
Software Developer Java Spring REST API Developer (AWS)
Responsibilities:
- Objectoriented analysis and design with expertise in Web Services (Restful SOAP API) Core Java and J2EE.
- Produce highquality design documents code conduct code reviews and perform unit testing.
- Provide insights into software development best practices and lifecycle.
- Strong technical skills across SDLC phases participating in Agile/Scrum projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years handson experience building enterprise software with Java.
- Proficient in web service development (REST API SOAP).
- Experience with AWS services like API Gateway Lambda S3 CloudWatch.
- Solid skills in Java/J2EE Spring Spring Boot JDBC Hibernate JMS XML XSLT.
- Implement secure and scalable API solutions troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Familiarity with Maven Jenkins Artifactory SVN Agile tools (JIRA).
- Health Care industry experience preferred.
- Cloudbased database knowledge (Snowflake) a plus.
