The Role: We are seeking a Specialist/Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a rural referral hospital, commencing Feb 2025! You will be expected to provide safe, efficient and effective orthopaedic services to inpatients and outpatients.
You will be supporting 2 Orthopaedic Surgeons with another 4FTE Unaccredited Trainees and 2FTE Junior Medical Officers.
- Supported by 5 Registrars and 2 JMO's.
- Broad case load
- Subspeciality practice
- Management of regional trauma
- 1 in 4 equals on call / call back acute roster coverage
- Weekly theatre list
- Emergency theatre list as required.

Skills & Qualifications: A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery), and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
