Job Description

FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, assess and implement wet and dry fire protection systems in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Perform design calculations, oversee design reviews and provide documentation for comprehensive fire protection installations.

  • Manage assigned work to meet project needs and proactively collaborate with the team and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables are achieved.

  • Ensure efficient cost and time management to complete work within the allocated budget.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Fire Protection.


What you will need to succeed

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Fire Engineering, or a related field.

  • Upwards of 4 years of local experience in a consulting environment.

  • Practical understanding of relevant Australian building codes and standards.

  • Expert knowledge and ability to implement sustainable and cost-effective design principles in engineering solutions.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

  • Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
