Consultant for Global Climate Fund

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THE WORK

The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide expert assistance to JRF in completing the accreditation application process for the Global Climate Fund. Specifically, the consultant will:

• Guide JRF through the accreditation process and requirements outlined by the GCF.
• Assist in developing and compiling necessary documentation and information required for the application.
• Provide technical expertise and advice on aligning JRF's projects and initiatives with GCF criteria and standards.
• Guide the process of developing a comprehensive strategy for engaging stakeholders and demonstrating JRF's capacity to effectively manage GCF resources.

Educational Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in working with the Global Climate Fund, including successful accreditation applications for non-governmental organizations or similar entities.
• In-depth knowledge of climate finance mechanisms, international climate policy frameworks, and best practices in project development and implementation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders.
• Fluency in English. Prior experience working in Jordan or the Middle East region.

Language requirement:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic Language is a plus.
