JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cloud Expert will be responsible for interfacing with customers and various internal customer teams in both virtual and onsite environments on a daytoday basis. This individual must be customer focused and be able to thrive in a dynamic environment. He or she will be part of the Network Operations team and must deliver expert engineering knowledge experience and accountability to the team.

• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines from a Network Perspective (not server or infrastructure).
• Troubleshoot incidents identify root causes fix and document problems and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloudbased initiatives providing associated training when necessary
• Demonstrate exceptional problemsolving skills with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
• Update technical and process documents supporting the environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with customer Architecture teams to review the appropriate cloud solutions.
• Support project teams for all technology design and configuration related issues
• Support Operations teams with configuration and design production issues
• Ensure Terraform scripts are functioning accurately
• Knowledge of Virtual Palo Alto Firewalls APIs and Panorama
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
• Interact with clients provide cloud support and make recommendations based on client needs
• Transit Gateway Internet Gateway NAT Gateway Direct Connect Virtual WAN VNet Express Connect
• Knowledge of GitLab system

Deliverables

• Technical support and advice for all Network teams in the account (including Project Delivery team Operations team ACC and Project Management team)
• Work with customer scripts testing and approval process before implementation in production
• Provide technical guidance to the Automation team that would enable mass configuration changes baseline reporting and support to the automation/operational teams

Education/Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in architecting designing developing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts developers data scientists and subjectmatter experts

Certifications

• Terraform Associate Certification
  • AWS and Azure are required. Google Cloud is a plus.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred
• Cisco CCNP preferred
