Backend Engineer Node.js / Hybrid role in Wrocaw

About the role:

Mission Its a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of our cuttingedge systems. You will tackle complex challenges and drive the development of our backend infrastructure with a laser focus on maintainability scalability and high performance.

You will collaborate with a team of seasoned engineers to architect and implement robust APIs enhance database efficiency and ensure seamless integration across a diverse array of platforms. You will deliver a reliable and seamless experience to our users empowering them to navigate the complex world of crypto compliance easily.

Tasks

• You will be solving problems from a holistic perspective with a focus on the backend part.
• Explore new ways of building and optimizing a scalable and quick system
• We aim for a you build it you run it environment where you will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle
• You will be involved in the product firsthand proposing solutions and enhancements to make it go from great to brilliant
• Help us maintain and care about our tech stack: allow time to refactor and ensure the code is maintainable and scalable

Requirements

• 4 years of fulltime Backend Software Engineering experience
• Solid knowledge and experience working with REST APIs and WebSockets
• Writing wellorganised efficient and easily testable code
• Proficiency in NodeJS and Javascript/Typescript development

Nice to have:

• Experience with NestJS
• Genuine interest in blockchain technology you are uptodate with new trends
• Knowledge of design patterns and when to apply them
• GCP / IaC using Terraform
• Knowledge of React
