Plant Engineer

Our client a leading Manufacturing Supplier in the Greater Toronto Area Ontario is currently looking for a fulltime permanent Plant Engineer with solid experience in Chemical or any Manufacturing industry

Job: Plant Engineer

Pay: $ 95 120 k per year

Shift: Days

Location: Greater Toronto Area Ontario

Required Qualifications:

• As a minimum Chemical Mechanical or equivalent Engineering degree
• 5 years experience in the chemical industry (plant maintenance background an asset)
• Thorough knowledge of equipment Operations.
• Capable of interpreting technical drawings.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of a Windows environment (Word Excel) and (AutoCAD Microsoft Visio. are required).
• Supports maintenance team by analyzing equipment operation / failures replacements.
• Develops preventative maintenance programs associated with all equipment installations.
• Troubleshoots plant equipment failures this includes control systems (Delta V PLC etc.).
• Maintains and develops plant drawings standards and procedures.
• Identifies critical part inventories for existing equipment and as a part of project closure.
• Initiates and writes new equipment SOPs for any new activity and update existing equipment SOP as required.
