Job Description
Title: AWS DevOps Architect
Duration: Long Term
Candidate Location: US/Canada/UK
Working hours: At least 4 hours overlap with Japanese Standard Time rest local working hours
Important note: Candidate should be proficient in reading writing and speaking Japanese Language
Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced AWS DevOps Architect to join our team. As an AWS DevOps Architect you will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams operations teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient deployment pipelines high availability and scalability of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
- Architect highly available and scalable solutions on AWS leveraging services such as EC2 S3 Lambda RDS ECS and others.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Ansible.
- Monitor and optimize the performance security and cost of AWS resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for optimal deployment and scalability in AWS.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or AWS Cloud Engineer with a focus on architecting and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of AWS services and their use cases.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch Prometheus or ELK stack.
