Job Overview:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Installation Manager to lead our electrical division within the traffic industry. Based in Coventry this pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of traffic system installations managing a dedicated team of up to 15 and ensuring the highest safety standards punctuality and morale.

The ideal candidate will be a handson leader with a flexible approach willing to respond to workrelated queries outside of regular hours including night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Discipline:
• Lead by example setting high standards for work ethic discipline and professional behaviour.
• Foster a positive work environment boosting team morale and maintaining high motivation levels.
• Installation Oversight:
• Manage and oversee the planning and execution of traffic system installations.
• Develop detailed installation plans and schedules ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all team members have the correct PPE and equipment needed for their tasks
• Enforce adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• People Management:
• Manage the installation team with the support of the National Supervisor and Resourcing Manager. Including scheduling training and performance evaluations.
• Address and resolve any personnel issues promptly and effectively.
• Operational Management:
• Coordinate the logistics of installations ensuring all materials and resources are available when needed.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders providing updates on project progress.
• Flexibility and Responsiveness:
• Be available to answer workrelated calls outside of standard working hours (8 AM 5 PM) including during night shifts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the electrical division of the traffic industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities
• Indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations related to traffic installations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible and responsive willing to handle workrelated issues outside of regular hours.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
