Job Description

Job Title: Sales Infrastructure Analyst
Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)
Location: Newark NJ (Hybrid) 07102

Summary:
The Sales Infrastructure Analyst will troubleshoot business process and technology requests from the Sales division translating them into actionable steps for resolution. This role is vital for ensuring smooth operations in trade promotion management volume planning sample execution sales systems and data accuracy. Additionally the analyst will conduct annual audits to ensure all tools and technologies meet corporate standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Ensure all tools systems processes and data are available for 500 field sales representatives (associates and broker partners). Provide support and training to field sales associates on coverage topics and proper tool usage.

  • Issue Resolution: Work as part of a team to manage areas of responsibility becoming the primary expert in specific domains while providing backup for others. Domains include:

    • Sales samples distribution
    • Stability and accuracy of sales reporting systems
    • Vendor relationships (FedEx Archway)
    • Sales communications
    • Trade Promotion Management system operations
    • Trade deduction management
    • Indirect Volume Reconciliation
    • Master data accuracy
    • Sales SharePoint site development and support
  • Troubleshooting: Respond to troubleshooting tickets raised by field sales users. Contact associates to gather facts determine next steps and resolve issues. Escalate concerns to appropriate teams when necessary and communicate progress to the Sales Infrastructure Manager teammates and the requesting associate/broker.

  • Collaboration: Partner with crossfunctional teams for swift issue resolution aligned with business impact. Train requesters on valid requests or explain why their requests are functioning as expected.

  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage expertise gained from daily operations and issue resolution to propose functional and technical improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education & Professional Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge / Experience:
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel PowerPoint).
    • Strong analytical business acumen and technical skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (oral written and listening).
    • Experience working directly with end users to understand system workflows.
    • 2 years of Sales and Support experience or relevant internship.
    • Power BI skills.
    • Ability to translate and prioritize business needs for crossfunctional partners.
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
