Printer Supervisor

1 Assure proper maintenance and repair of departmental equipment; maintain current knowledge of technical advances in the field.
2 Examine material submitted for printing
3 Order and maintain inventory of paper stock ink chemicals and other supplies and equipment
4 Organize assign and direct the operation of the various Printing Process and oversee the maintenance of Printing equipment; train staff in operation of print room equipment.
5 Requisition supplies related to personalised order
6 Research printing equipment and recommendations and analysis of new equipment and proposed facilities as necessary.
7 Review incoming work prepare production instructions estimate production time establish priority and
schedule work for the various phases of personalization.
8 Supervise various printing process like sublimation UV and laser engraving.
9 Train assign and supervise the performance of assigned personnel.

10 Close coordination with Merchandise team for new product testing and development.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
Methods practices and procedures used in the production of printed and graphic materials.
Operation use minor repair and maintenance of printing and related equipment.
Ink chemicals and papers used in printing operations.
