We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ICS (Industrial Control Systems)
Cybersecurity Proposal Lead Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a
crucial role in leading the development of proposals for ICS cybersecurity projects
ensuring the integration of robust cybersecurity measures into industrial control
environments. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial control systems
cybersecurity best practices and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in crafting
comprehensive and competitive proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific ICS cybersecurity needs and
concerns.
Conduct site visits to evaluate existing industrial control systems and identify
potential vulnerabilities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
and responsiveness.
Proposal Development:
Design and develop comprehensive ICS cybersecurity proposals based on client
requirements.
Clearly articulate the proposed cybersecurity solutions detailing technical
specifications project timelines and cost estimates.
Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to ensure alignment between
proposed solutions and client expectations.
Technical Expertise:
Stay current with industry trends emerging threats and advancements in ICS
cybersecurity.
Leverage deep technical knowledge to propose innovative and effective
cybersecurity solutions.
Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams during presales
discussions.
Demonstrate expertise in ICS cybersecurity including a deep understanding of
industrial control systems SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and
PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and industry best
practices to integrate the latest technologies and methodologies into proposals.
Documentation:
Create detailed documentation for proposed solutions including system
architectures technical specifications and implementation plans.
Ensure that all documentation complies with industry standards company
template and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales engineering and project
management to ensure successful proposal execution.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate complementary
cybersecurity technologies.
Project Management:
Work closely with project managers to ensure that proposed cybersecurity
solutions align with project timelines budgets and deliverables.
Contribute to project planning by providing technical insights and expertise.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality and completeness of proposal documentation including
technical specifications implementation plans and cost estimates.
Conduct thorough reviews to identify and address any gaps or issues in proposals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Electrical
Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in ICS cybersecurity with a focus on industrial automation and
control systems.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles risk management and
compliance standards relevant to industrial environments.
Familiarity with ICS protocols (e.g. Modbus DNP3 OPC) and industrial
communication networks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex
technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM or ISA/IEC 62443 are highly desirable.
Experience in proposal development and a proven track record in client
engagement.
Relevant Experience
Around 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in proposal / engineering for OT cybersecurity
requirements
Minimum 2 years should be as Proposal Lead as per requirements mentioned in
this profile
Proficient in Arabic and English
