Develop and promote GL accounting activities
Validate the recruitment and ensure the building of teams with the right level of skills to perform the transferred activities
Organizes the activity within the team to ensure efficiency and quality
Create accurate transition plans to ensure proper training
Coordinate and facilitate activities such as conducting assessments preparing process documentation managing knowledge transfer supporting cutover activities and developing projectrelated communications.
Provide transition status updates and log and followup all RiskActionsIssues Decisions related to transition according to the setup governance.
Manage accounting activities
Ensuring strong accounting and reporting ensures compliance and provides strategic information for all entities manage in theSSC
Ensure financial and accounting records are timely prepared maintained and reported in compliance with local GAAP IFRSand other regulation.
Being a subject matter expert and goto person in complex technical accounting questions. Be a coach for any Financecompliance statutory accounts operational accounting expertise topic to upskill the team.
Supporting the implementation of accounting systems and policies (especially in the light of the current rollout of SAPS4/HANA) and procedures to ensure continuous improvement process standardization digitalization and bestinclass
practices.
Reinforcing compliance & internal contol including antibribery for all activities in his/her scope and perform entities accountsreviews.
The position will require outstanding technical and operational accounting skills as well as external & internal auditing experience.
Relevant experience in auditing accounting and overall financial statements analysis.
Certified accountant qualification
Knowledge of IFRS statutory filings and statutory audit requirements with exposure to multiple accounting standards (e.g.US GAAP) as well as French GAAP.
Working understanding of an internal control framework and a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency.
Proven experience in leading teams (local & Shared Services Centers); influencing and galvanizing others to follow youtoward a solution.
Track record of having earned the trust of leadership team by challenging norms upgrading team performance enablinggrowth and improving efficiency.
Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
Fluent English and entry/medium level in French.
A strong team player operates globally taking ownership and demonstrating selfinitiative.
