Contract: Full time permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week to include evenings weekends and bank holidays. Required to attend every match during the season as well as other commercial events throughout the year.

This is an exciting time to join the Somerset Team. As 2023 T20 champions we are driven to exceed our recent achievements in the 2024 season and beyond.
We have an opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Commercial Sales Executive to join our team and deliver revenue by selling advertising and sponsorship solutions and driving hospitality membership and event revenue sales at The Cooper Associates County Ground.
To give you a snapshot of the tasks involved in this exciting role youll be seeking new clients researching new markets and identifying business opportunities. You will proactively sell advertising and sponsorship and our venue and hospitality services to expand the business and achieve sales targets. Youll identify new sales leads and have the confidence to turn cold leads or prospects into new clients for a variety of products and services. You will be hosting inspiring client showrounds attending networking opportunities and exhibitions and supporting in marketing and promotional activities. Youll also have some administrative responsibilities to help ensure excellent client relationship management.
To be successful in our team youll have excellent listening and communication skills. Youll have relevant sales experience and can demonstrate success alongside resilience and positivity in the face of setbacks. Networking and client relationship management excites you. Youre organised with strong planning and project management skills. You will enjoy picking up the phone pitching negotiating and closing business. Above all youre passionate about what you do and committed to doing your job to the highest standard.

Further shortlisted candidates will be invited to a second stage interview to be held face to face at the Cooper Associates County Ground Taunton on Wednesday 24 July.
