Job Description

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Asia Faststream are recruiting an experienced Crew Counselor for an award winning globally recognized cruise brand Are you a compassionate and experienced mental health professional looking for a unique opportunity to support the well-being of crew members on board a luxury cruise vessel? We are currently seeking a dedicated Crew Counsellor to join our team and provide confidential counseling services to our diverse crew community. As a Crew Counsellor, you will play a vital role in promoting the mental health and overall wellness of our crew members. Key Responsibilities • Provide confidential counseling services to crew members facing personal, emotional, or work-related concerns. • Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and offer ongoing support and guidance. • Facilitate support groups and workshops on topics such as stress management, conflict resolution, and cultural adjustment. • Collaborate with onboard medical staff, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure holistic care for crew members. • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions in accordance with professional ethics and company policies. • Stay informed about mental health resources and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of counseling services. • Promote a positive and supportive work environment by fostering open communication and mutual respect among crew members. Qualifications and Experience: • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. • Minimum of three years of experience providing counseling services in the field • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. • Sensitivity to cultural differences and awareness of the unique challenges faced by crew members working in a maritime environment.
