Radiologist

The Radiologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries using medical imaging techniques such as Xrays CT scans MRIs ultrasounds and nuclear medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Imaging Interpretation: Analyze and interpret medical images to diagnose conditions and prepare detailed reports.
• Patient Care: Review medical histories explain procedures to patients and collaborate with referring physicians.
• Procedural Involvement: Perform imageguided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Technology Management: Operate and maintain imaging equipment and stay updated with technological advancements.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in team meetings.
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety standards and participate in quality assurance programs.
• Research and Education: Engage in research stay current with medical advancements and mentor medical students and residents.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Licensure: Valid medical license.
• Certification: Board certification in Radiology.
• Experience: Completed radiology residency; fellowship training preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in imaging equipment.
