Job Description:As a Marine Welder Foreman at Team Electric you will play a crucial role in our fabrication team responsible for welding and fabricating marine structures piping systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG TIG and stick welding on marine structures and components.
- Interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify weld integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and fellow craftsmen to optimize fabrication processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder preferably in a marine or shipyard environment.
- Proficiency in MIG TIG and stick welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings blueprints and welding symbols accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in welding techniques (e.g. AWS certification) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with marine fabrication materials and processes is a plus.
