Job Description
Dark Light is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support one of our clients with a significant financial transformation initiative. This role is central to modernizing and streamlining their processes and tools within the finance department to achieve greater efficiency.
Tasks
- Oversee and manage one or multiple projects to ensure successful delivery of anticipated results.
- Guide project teams from the conceptual phase through to execution including obtaining necessary approvals managing demands establishing support structures and maintaining service levels as specified by the business.
- Maintain team alignment with business goals regarding scope scheduling budgeting and quality.
- Adapt and manage project changes as they arise.
- Supervise various testing phases and user acceptance procedures ensuring smooth coordination.
- Ensure all project activities comply with set standards and methodologies established by IT Governance.
- Identify manage and mitigate project risks effectively.
- Ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule consistently monitoring and reporting progress.
- Facilitate communication with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders preparing and presenting reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements
- A bachelors or masters degree in computer science information systems business administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT and business sectors.
- Proficiency in various project management methodologies and possession of a Project Management Certification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Strong understanding of business principles in IT and retail industries.
- Indepth knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
- Nativelevel proficiency in Dutch or French with professional fluency in English.
