We are a stateoftheart indoor dog daycare center dedicated to providing a safe fun and engaging environment for dogs. Our modern facility is equipped with the latest amenities to ensure the comfort and happiness of every dog in our care. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and a personalized experience for both dogs and their owners. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dog Daycare Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will have an absolute passion for dogs strong leadership skills and a background in animal care or hospitality management. He/she will act as main point of contact to the owner.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as main point of contact to Owner
Provide and ensure all employees deliver a toptier customer experience proactively addressing and resolving any concerns related to dogs and human customers
Supervise train develop oversee train daycare handlers front desk agents and other staff members
Maintain a fun safe ethical environment for both team members and dogs
Foster a work culture that prioritizes brand mission while having fun at the job
Maintain brand excellence by ensuring the stores presentation and client experience align with our standards while adhering to dress code and grooming guidelines for employees
Excite and educate clients through in person experiences calls emails text
Create team schedules ensuring proper staffing including covering shifts when needed and
Candidate must be comfortable with cleaning up dog urine and waste and performing light finding coverage when needed
Manage daily operations including client relations and facility maintenance
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care monitoring playgroups and handling any incidents; Watch footage and submit reports
Perform emergency protocols or drills as needed
Contact owner and dog parent for any sick or injured animal drive to vet if necessary
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility
Handle client inquiries concerns and feedback professionally and promptly
Assist with administrative tasks such as billing payroll and inventory management
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
MustHaves
Genuine Dog lover an absolute must have!
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Passion for animals and dedication to providing excellent care
Experience
12 years of previous experience in hospitality customer experience retail
Ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing a team at a dog daycare pet services and/or retail
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in using computer systems and management software
Knowledge of dog behavior and basic pet first aid
Nice to Have
Positive attitude resilient to client objections proactive accountable attentive to detail
Ability and desire to sell
