Job Description

The Duty Manager is a key member of the management team responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive possess strong leadership skills and demonstrate the ability to manage and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
    • Coordinate with various departments to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of guest service safety and security.
  • Guest Relations:

    • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Maintain a visible presence in the resort to interact with guests and staff.
    • Ensure VIPs and returning guests receive personalized attention and service.
  • Staff Management:

    • Supervise and support staff across different departments during shifts.
    • Conduct briefings and debriefings with staff to communicate daily operations and expectations.
    • Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance and incidents.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and standards.
    • Assist in budget management and cost control initiatives.
  • Crisis Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies or critical incidents.
    • Implement and oversee emergency procedures and ensure staff are trained and prepared.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Amenable to work in Boracay island.
