Overview

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean scalable code using ASP.NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise update refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with server side logic
• Implement security and data protection
• Train and support internal teams
• Support maintain and document software functionality
• Stay informed about advancements in ASP.NET technologies
• Participate in regular meetings to provide feedback and suggest improvements
• Create technical specifications and test plans
• Support and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as an ASP.NET Developer or Web Developer
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. ModelViewController (MVC))
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C# Visual Basic .NET)
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST RPC)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Attention to detail and an analytical mind
• Good project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with frontend technologies (HTML JavaScript CSS)
• Knowledge of DevOps Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus
• Microsoft certification is a plus
