AML Compliance Analyst
We are seeking an AML Compliance Analyst for our client in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will report to the AML/ATF GWAM Manager and will be responsible for executing compliance testing for the respective Business Unit. This role involves effective monitoring investigation and case management of Watch List scanning within the context of antimoney laundering and antiterrorist financing (AML/ATF) regulations.

Responsibilities:
Manage Bridger Daily PEFP/ATF/OFAC/Country Alerts: Investigate and assess the risk of alerts identified by the customer risk assessment tools. Maintain proper records and audit trails of investigation activity and disposition actions for all alerts.
Use judgment and knowledge of money laundering patterns to assess whether transactions are suspicious. Conduct investigations and make recommendations for the appropriate course of action.
Prepare case reports for review outlining the depth of investigation activity risk assessment and recommended remediation action
What you will need to succeed:
Postsecondary education.
ACAM s certification (asset).
2 years of experience in AML/ATF.
Good understanding of AML/ATF regulations and risk management.
Strong knowledge of Manulife products processes and systems.
Excellent organizational research investigative and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to operate independently to achieve compliance objectives.
Professional attitude and adherence to a high ethical standard.
