Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our hotel team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management including recruitment employee relations training and development performance management and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills excellent communication abilities and a thorough understanding of HR best practices in the hospitality industry.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with the hotel s goals and objectives ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process including job posting candidate sourcing interviewing and hiring for all hotel positions.
  • Develop and maintain effective onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Oversee employee performance management processes including goal setting performance evaluations and career development planning.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies including leadership development programs customer service training and technical skills training.
  • Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and other employee perks ensuring competitive offerings and costeffectiveness.
  • Administer compensation and payroll processes accurately and efficiently including salary administration bonuses and incentive programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws regulations and industry standards related to employment practices health and safety and employee rights.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate HR records and documentation including employee files personnel records and HRIS data.




Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor s degree in human resources management business administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Indepth knowledge of HR principles practices and regulations with a focus on the unique requirements of the hotel industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment and selection processes including sourcing strategies candidate assessment methods and employment branding.
  • Ability to handle employee relations issues with sensitivity confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training and development programs including curriculum design and delivery methods.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems payroll software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed to support hotel operations and accommodate employee needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. High level of discretion and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required. Location: Tema community 6 Job Type: Full-time
