Job Description
Here at Primus Workforce we provide safetyminded experienced personnel support throughout the oil & gas construction and technical trades sectors to our clients longterm and shortterm contingency needs. We are a growing and dynamic company to work with providing you with the key to your future success.
We are currently searching for Carpenters Helpers Out of town ongoing project Accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the specified requirements of the client and work accordingly.
- Read construction layouts and blueprints to plan work processes.
- Utilize framing or finish carpentry experience.
- Provide training mentorship and support for Apprentices as required.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance standards and codes.
- Assist with a variety of work scopes required for maintenance tasks and projects including groundwork elevations and ground compaction for barrel placements.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver s License is required.
- CSTS
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Previous Renovations Experience an asset.
- 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Previous oil and construction industry experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive Drug Alcohol and Physical Demand Assessment
- Ability to stand crouch and kneel for long periods of time.
- Manual dexterity.
- Balance for working on scaffolding.
- Strong mathematical scientific mechanical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a work team.
- Fluent in spoken written and reading English.
