You have a strong attention to detail and understand what can be compromised on versus what cannot. You are in the know with the newest technologies in EDC footwear outdoor apparel or similar and know how to build it. You understand the process of taking design and developing a new product bringing it through manufacturing QC and landing it on a shelf.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Product Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes experience in project management and excellent communication skills. This role involves managing product development ensuring timely project delivery and solving production issues in collaboration with manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Development: Maintain and oversee the development timeline to ensure projects stay on track.

OnTime Delivery of Projects: Ensure all projects are delivered according to schedule and meet quality standards.

ProblemSolving with Manufacturing Partners: Collaborate directly with manufacturers to resolve production issues efficiently.

Ownership of BOMs: Manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) for all projects ensuring accuracy and updates as needed.

Sample Tracking and Delivery: Oversee the tracking and timely delivery of product samples.

Communication: Regularly update the organization on project status and progress.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical ProblemSolving: Competent in solving technical issues that arise during the development process.

Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience working with manufacturers and a strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding cutandsew machining and metal casting.

Color Processes Knowledge: Understanding of dying and anodization processes.

Project Management: Experience managing hardgoods and/or softgoods development projects.

Language Proficiency: Proficient in English both written and spoken.

Required Soft Skills:

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.

Customer Focus: Driven to prioritize customer needs and experience in decisionmaking.

Multitasking: Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with ease.

Travel: Willingness to travel 510% of the time.

Direct Communication: Strong communication skills for clear and effective interactions with team members and partners.

Project Management: Excellent project management abilities to keep projects on track and within scope.

Time Zone Management: Ability to work across multiple time zones particularly Western US and Asia.

Tools and Software Proficiency:

Adobe Illustrator: Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator for design and development purposes.

3D Software: Experience with 3D design software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or Rhino.

Project Management Software: Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA or ClickUp to track and manage project progress.
