Lead Pega Developer

Location: Plano TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Experience: 8 Years

MustHave:

Experience building and unit testing headless workflows that utilize Pegas outofthebox REST APIs

1 3 years of handson experience as a Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)

5 years of handson experience as a Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) working on multitier web application

Experience rebuilding/rebranding an application UI utilizing the Cosmos UI

Strong data analysis skills

Experience with other web application technologies (JavaScript C# Java etc.)

Banking domain experience specifically Compliance or Risk is a plus

Must Be a Local Candidate of Texas Only

Job Description:

Provide technical leadership to the project team for PEGA 8. x projects
Conduct and coordinate Proof of Concept applications
Key contributor in delivering technology solutions utilizing the Pega Platform
Design develop enhance debug and support EITT Pega applications
Participate in creating and delivering on project road maps
Manage yearly upgrades to the latest version of the Pega Platform
Mentoring others by guiding best practices in PEGA architecture design and application development
Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed or corrected before implementation
Collaborate across teams to build integrated solutions that follow architectural best practices
CLSA/CSSA with 7 years of Pega handson experience in the delivery of large enterprise complex solutions
Bachelors degree in computer science/related field or equivalent working experience
Must have strong communication skills to discuss and understand various business processes
Sound understanding of all Pega 8.x features and hands on experience implementing them
Managing platform upgrades including at least one major version upgrade
Deep understanding of Enterprise class structure complex workflows and design patterns
Strong experience in case management data modeling system integration agents user experience design security background processing performance deployment and unit testing
Strong in UX/UI design expertise and UI guardrails
Indepth knowledge of advanced topics such as setting Pega node types serverlevel configurations and utilizing the Tracer for troubleshooting obscure coding problems
Must have exposure to Agile development and its delivery model
Should be able to provide estimates/sizing based on highlevel requirements
Database modeling to support reporting and property optimization
Indepth knowledge of Oracle SQL DDL and DML
A proven desire to learn and apply new Pega features

Production release preparations to include release notes deployment instructions database script review (master script creation) and support during the deployment event

Provide innovative solutions to complex problems or business requirements
Ensure yearly application compliance activities are completed on time
