Work Type: Full Time Office Position (1 day per month remote working)
Salary: £30000 £50000 (DOE)
We are looking to recruit a motivated Fee Earner to join an ambitious Liverpool City Centre based firm with national reach that is looking to bolster their already strong and dedicated Housing Disrepair team. The team deals with Social Housing Disrepair claims which can include Landlord & Tenant matters and Personal Injury Claims.
Responsibilities
Progressing your own caseload
Working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals
Demonstrating excellent drafting and advocacy skills
Liaise with other professionals such as surveyors external counsel and other key stakeholders
Keep up to date with the latest legal developments in the area of housing disrepair
Requirements
At least 24 months experience handling a caseload of claims (HDR PI RTA PCP etc)
Experience in handling HDR files and dealing with an array of Housing Disrepair issues from inception to conclusion(desirable but not essential)
Ability to independently manage a caseload and settle files
Experience of working to deadlines with a minimum of supervision
Be proficient with Proclaim or similar CMS (desirable but not essential) although indepth training will be provided
Have an ability to plan and prioritise your workload
To have worked with Microsoft Excel Word & Outlook
Good people skills for teamwork and building relationships with coworkers and clients
Good written and spoken communication skills
