      To achieve this you will be involved in promoting microservices within the development team.

      Reasons and Benefits for Promoting Microservices at Our Company

      While microservices have been a modern concept attracting attention in recent years its not always suitable to implement them in every situation. However we believe that promoting microservices is beneficial due to the scale of our services and the number of users which allows for significant improvements in speed in new developments. Moreover we already have individuals responsible for promoting microservices and we welcome those who are interested in challenging themselves with microservicesrelated development in the future.

      Current Challenges and Initiatives

      We are currently focusing on the stable growth of core services and advancing the construction of new services and expansion to native apps. While we have achieved certain results there is still a need to improve the speed of new service development.

      To address these challenges we are modularizing existing services built with a monolithic architecture creating mechanisms to reuse them as needed. We aim to compress lead times and operational costs reduce development burdens and improve speed and quality.

      Team Structure

      We work in Scrum teams with a director SRE engineering team focusing on the microservices transformation of existing systems.

      Main Responsibilities

      As a member of the Scrum team you will be responsible for microservices development and operations including:

      • Designing system architecture and implementing it with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
      • Designing and developing applications
      • Designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
      • Establishing and configuring logging and monitoring methods
      • Investigating and addressing issues during incidents

      Development Flow

      We adopt Scrum development dividing work into oneweek sprints including retrospectives reflections and planning sessions. Additionally we conduct daily standups to discuss daily actions and challenges. Our retrospective meetings focus on how to improve the teams output.

    • Remote work: You can choose to come to the office at least 3 times a week or be fully remote depending on the teams policy.
