  You will be involved in improving modifying and building new core systems that various groups use across different products. In this position you will primarily be responsible for systems related to aggregation used in accounting. Additionally depending on your experience and skills you may also be entrusted with the development of systems used by the customer support department.

  While not the main focus the team responsible for this position is also developing systems to counter illegal uploads aiming to ensure users and creators can enjoy the service securely.

  Current Web Service Team Structure

  Currently our development team is divided into five units with this position belonging to the web unit which is responsible for developing web services. We operate under a structure where multiple products are handled by one unit rather than individually aiming to move away from being overly reliant on specific individuals. Currently we have a team of 35 members including 4 leaders and 1 subleader overseeing various products.

  Development Workflow

  We currently use Jira as our task management tool and in some projects we also practice Scrum. Prioritization of tasks is determined through consultation with specialized teams considering factors such as difficulty and tasks are progressed while confirming details on Jira. We also analyze estimates and actual work hours to gauge the growth of team members incorporating productivity visualization into our daily operations.

  Current Challenges Concrete Efforts and Future Prospects

  Our mid to longterm goal for this position is to unify accounting systems across all products. However there are challenges in achieving this:

  • Limited manpower with development resources primarily allocated to maintenance and operations
  • Development of systems beyond accounting resulting in even fewer resources dedicated to accounting system tasks

  To address this we aim to first expand the team and secure development resources enabling us to focus on developing accountingrelated systems. Ultimately we aspire to unify the entire system supporting the entire company and we would greatly appreciate your contribution.

  Immediate Tasks

  Immediate tasks include work related to accounting systems and support system maintenance:

  • Specifically developing systems for aggregating sales data from the previous month
  • Maintenance work on systems used by customer support

  In the mid to longterm we aim to introduce accountingrelated systems across the entire company and the workload in this area is gradually increasing. Therefore we also welcome your input in specifications and requirements gathering for the unified system.

• Remote work: You can choose to come to the office at least 3 times a week or be fully remote depending on the teams policy.
