Job Description

Qdrant is at the forefront of innovation in the vector database industry offering cuttingedge solutions for managing and analyzing complex highdimensional data. Our technology enables businesses to unlock the full potential of their data powering applications such as recommendation systems image and text search and much more. As we continue to grow we are seeking a talented Presales Engineer to join our team and help drive our success to new heights.

Location: San Francisco (Bay Area)

As a Solution Architect at Qdrant you will play a pivotal role in our sales process combining your technical expertise with a keen understanding of customer needs to provide tailored solutions that demonstrate the value and capabilities of Qdrants vector database technology. You will work closely with potential clients understanding their technical challenges and demonstrating how our solutions can meet their requirements. Your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between the technical and sales aspects of our business ensuring a smooth transition from initial engagement to successful implementation.

Tasks

  • Engage closely with prospects and customers by offering architectural guidance showcasing Qdrants technology through practical demonstrations proof of concepts and during the entire design and implementation process.
  • Partner with the growth and sales teams to craft engaging joint solutions and successful gotomarket strategies.
  • Link Qdrants solutions to specific business challenges faced by customers.
  • Contribute to enhancing internal knowledge through the delivery of technical training provision of sales materials and coordination of collaborative solution workshops.

Requirements

  • You have proven experience in the tasks mentioned above
  • 3 years of experience with AI startups or digitalnative enterprises.
  • Excellent presentation skills adept at addressing both technical and executive audiences through spontaneous discussions or structured presentations and demos.
  • Extensive experience with largescale database technologies data warehousing ETL processes analytics and cloud solutions.
  • Skilled at linking Qdrants solutions to specific business challenges faced by customers.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms particularly AWS Azure and GCP.
  • A degree in computer science engineering mathematics or a related field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Additional experience in (Pre) Sales is also a plus
