Role Description

This is a contract (freelance) hybrid role for a Senior Laravel Developer at Semesteer. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), software development, and programming tasks. This role will be primarily located in Amman, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Laravel Developer will be responsible for handling and updating an existing Laravel-9 based backend application. This role is hybrid, where frequent attendance @ office is required, and some work from home will be acceptable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 year of proven experience as a Laravel Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and services.
• Familiarity with front-end SPA technologies (React, Vue, Angular).
• Knowledge of database management systems of MySQL.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strong TTD ability & skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent team communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems of Git & Github.
